Portraits by Commission

(Pricing varies on size and medium selected. There may be an additional cost on accessories such as eyeglasses, jewelry, etc. Other size paintings offered but not listed. For each additional figure, add the portrait fee less ten percent. Pets and elaborate interiors will be additional costs depending on the complexity of the composition.)
Procedure
Ms. Golden meets initially with the client to discuss clothing and pose for the process. This may be at the artist studio or client's home or office. Photographs are taken by the artist at this time. The artist will accept photographs from the client if it is not convenient for the client to sit.
When the photographs are taken, the artist schedules a follow-up meeting to review the proofs. This gives client and artist an opportunity to discuss specifics, such as background, etc. One or more additional meetings may be scheduled. When this is not practical, the artist mails color photographs to the client for approval. Following final approval, arrangements are made for delivery of the completed portrait.
A deposit of 50% will be due in advance. Balance is due at completion of commission and acceptance by the client. Payments accepted: Cash, Check, Money Order, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover.
Not included in price:
Framing, shipping/crating, out-of-town traveling expenses and sales tax if required
